Now in development is The Diploma in Teaching Yoga, Support Manual. This will be the resource all teacher-trainers (or deep-diving yoga practitioners), need on their journey of yogic self-discovery.
After Conrad Paul's untimely passing, Yoga Professionals have taken time out over the past few years. Myself, family and the entire globe have all had many personal and collective challenges, along with my own personal grieving process for my brother.
With the conception, writing and overall design of the Level 3 Diploma course, Conrad (along with loyal and experienced tutors) was the life and soul of the Yoga Professionals student learning journey. The course was a unique and transformative experience and although I knew my brother's courses well, and have my own two decade yoga and teaching experience, his unique, knowledgable and humorous approach, cannot be replaced .
Conrad and I were both opposite and complimentary to each other, with lots of shared middle-ground in life and yoga knowledge. What each lacked, the other had in an abundance, and so we could be supportive in these areas.
I have often wondered after Conrad died which direction to take YP? Though still unsure, I feel these complimentary combination of opposites, rooted in a solid foundation, may be a light showing myself and the family, which direction to go.
Along with a deep void, Conrad left a legacy including many resources, his yogic ethos and irreverent and often hilarious approach to modern day practice and teaching. I can't say that I have a clear direction to proceed yet, but I feel using the combining the best of his legacy and my own yoga experience and writing talents, might just be the way forwards.
